Diamonds are the reward currency inside Knozii. They are earned through activity, redeemed for goods at participating shops, and deliberately cannot be turned into cash.
The rate, stated plainly
100 diamonds = $1, which is roughly KSh 130 of goods at a participating merchant. One correct quiz answer earns one diamond, so a hundred correct answers buys about KSh 130 of shopping.
That rate is deliberately set so the exchange does the throttling. There is no lockout and no arbitrary cap — there is simply real work behind a real reward.
Where diamonds come from
- Quizzes — one diamond per correct answer, which is the main route
- Community micro-tasks, which pay in diamonds and Profile Strength, with cash on higher-value tasks
- Signing up — a joining bonus of 100 diamonds, equal to $1
- Bringing in an approved merchant as a tasker, at $1 per approved merchant
- Approved creator posts, at $1 per approved post
Available on the free tier
Earning and redeeming diamonds is part of free membership. You do not need to be paying to earn them, and a member who never upgrades can still accumulate and spend diamonds indefinitely.
What diamonds cannot do
They cannot be withdrawn as cash. They cannot pay your membership contribution. They cannot pay the $5 skills exam fee or the $100 agent track, both of which are cash only. And Gold Coins can never be converted into diamonds — that one is enforced in the database, not merely discouraged.
Why the limits exist
Diamonds are a reward for participation, redeemed at real shops for real goods. Allowing them to pay fees would make progression purchasable with quiz answers, and allowing cash conversion would turn a rewards programme into a payment system. Keeping them to goods is what keeps them honest.
Earning steadily
Quizzes are the most reliable route because they are always available and each correct answer counts. Members who treat them as a small daily habit accumulate meaningfully over a month.
