Staying in control

Knozii pays for skill, not luck — but paid entries are still real money. Here is exactly what you can risk, how to cap it, and how to stop.

Last updated 25 July 2026 Applies to knozii.com and the Knozii app Need help support@knozii.com

The short version

Every paid round is decided by knowledge and speed — there is no random payout and no house spin.
You can only ever lose the entry or stake shown before you confirm: $0.25 to $5.00 depending on the mode.
Crash quiz is the riskiest mode. One wrong answer loses the whole stake, however high the multiplier.
Practice rounds are free on Silver, and tasks pay for work with no cash stake at risk.
Self-exclusion for 7 to 180 days is in the app, and it cannot be reversed early.

A summary only. The sections below have the detail, including how to self-exclude.

01

Skill, not chance

Every paid round on Knozii is decided by what you know and how fast you answer. Questions have correct answers, the same questions go to every tasker in a pool, and nothing pays out at random. There is no house edge on a spin, because there is no spin.

That is a real difference from gambling, and it is why we say “100% skill. 0% luck.” But it does not make paid entries risk-free: if you answer badly, you lose your entry. This page is about that risk.

02

What you can actually lose

Your exposure is capped by what you choose to stake, every time. Nothing on Knozii can take more than the entry or stake shown before you confirm.

Solo test entry $0.50, $1.00, $1.50 or $2.00 per round. Lost if you score poorly; diamonds are still earned per correct answer.
Quiz pool entry $0.50 to $5.00. Only the top three of a pool share the prize pool. A no-show forfeits the entry.
Crash quiz stake $0.25 to $5.00. One wrong answer ends the round and the stake is gone.
Quiz battle stake $0.50 to $1.00, winner takes the stake.
Diamonds on applications 20 diamonds to unlock microtasks plus 2 a day, or 20 to 100 to apply to a task. Spent whether or not you are allocated.
Practice test Free. Uses Silver, carries no cash risk, and pays no cash.
03

Crash quiz deserves its own warning

Crash quiz is the mode most likely to catch you out, and the app labels it honestly: the multiplier curve runs from 0.1x to 50x through zones named Loss, Break-even, Profit and Greed. Below question seven you are still behind your stake. Above question sixteen you are in the Greed zone.

One wrong answer ends the round and you lose the whole stake, no matter how high the multiplier had climbed. Cashing out early is not losing — it is the point of the mode.

04

Setting your own limits

Decide before you test, not while you are testing. A few habits that work:

Fund deliberately Top up a set amount and stop when it is gone rather than topping up mid-session.
Pick one entry tier Staying at $0.50 rounds keeps a long session cheap. Raising the tier to recover a loss is the classic mistake.
Practise for free Silver rounds are free and use the same question banks. Use them to learn a category before paying to enter it.
Test for diamonds, not cash Diamonds are earned per correct answer regardless of your final score, so they reward accuracy rather than luck.
Take the earnings route Microtasks and client tasks pay for work delivered, with no stake at risk beyond the diamond entry.
05

Signs it has stopped being fun

Take these seriously, in yourself or someone you know:

Chasing Raising your stake to win back what you just lost.
Borrowing Staking money meant for something else, or money that is not yours.
Hiding it Not wanting people close to you to know how much you test or spend.
Time slipping Sessions running far longer than you intended, or taking tests when you meant to sleep or work.
Feeling required Taking tests out of compulsion rather than choice, or feeling low when you cannot.
06

Self-exclusion

In the app, Settings → Self-Exclusion & Account lets you block yourself from paid challenges for 7, 14, 30, 90 or 180 days. Free features stay available, your badges and balances are untouched, and withdrawals still work.

It cannot be reversed early. That is deliberate — a cooling-off period you can switch off in a weak moment is not a cooling-off period.

07

Taking tests for free, indefinitely

You never have to stake cash to use Knozii. New accounts get a Silver grant for practice rounds, free tests award Silver, and daily challenges and flash challenges pay Gold. Gold buys power-ups and cosmetics and boosts task applications, but it is not cashable — which also means it cannot be lost as cash.

The earning path that involves no staking at all is tasks: unlock microtasks with diamonds you won by passing tests, deliver work, get paid.

08

Age and eligibility

Knozii is for adults aged 18 or over. Paid entries, stakes and payouts are not available to anyone under 18, and accounts found to belong to minors are closed.

One account per person, verified against one phone number. Accounts are not transferable, and payout names must match verified identity.

09

Getting help

If testing is affecting your money, your work or your relationships, please talk to someone. Write to support@knozii.com and we will help you set up self-exclusion, close your account, or withdraw a balance without testing it down first.

Support organisations for gambling-related harm exist in most countries and their advice applies to any pattern of compulsive staking. If you tell us where you are, we will point you to a service local to you.

10

Closing your account

Account deletion is in the app under Settings → Self-Exclusion & Account → Delete Account. Withdraw any eligible balance first; wallets with an unlock floor cannot be paid out below it, and closing an account does not waive that floor.

Deletion is permanent. If you only want to stop for a while, self-exclusion is the better tool.

Need to take a break?

Self-exclusion lives in the app under Settings → Self-Exclusion & Account. Pick a period from 7 to 180 days and paid entries close immediately; free practice, your badges and your balances stay exactly as they are. If you would rather someone helped you set it up, write to support@knozii.com.
