- Not paid for recruiting — nobody earns diamonds because you joined
- Not an income — they supplement a shop bill; they do not replace earnings
Why each limit exists
No cash conversion keeps a rewards programme from becoming a payment system. No fee payment keeps badges earned rather than ground out. No gold conversion keeps the two currencies doing different jobs. No recruitment reward keeps the community from becoming a recruitment scheme.
Each limit closes a route by which the programme would otherwise be gamed.
The one thing to check
Where you can spend. The rate is fixed, but its practical value depends on how many merchants near you accept. Check the acceptance map before planning around a balance.
