Community guidelines

01Be an adult, and be yourself

• Chat+ is for adults only. You must be 18 or older to use Chat+, and you must give your real date of birth.
• Use your own name and your own photos. Don't pretend to be someone else, a brand or Knozii staff.
• One account per person. Don't buy, sell or share accounts.

02Never anything involving a child

• No content that sexualises anyone under 18, ever. Not in photos, messages, calls or links.
• If you think someone on Chat+ is under 18, report them with "May be under 18". Their profile is hidden and paid contact with them stops while our team checks.
• We report child sexual abuse material to the authorities, close the account and keep the evidence.

03Keep it respectful

• Flirting between adults who both want it is fine. Pushing someone who has said no, or who has stopped replying, is not.
• No harassment, bullying, threats or stalking. No hate speech or insults about anyone's tribe, race, religion, gender, disability or who they love.
• Don't share anyone's private information (phone number, address, photos, location) without their permission.

04No sexual content or paid sex

• No nudity or sexually explicit photos, videos, messages or video calls.
• Chat+ earners are paid for their time and conversation, not for sexual content or sexual acts. Offering, asking for, or arranging paid sex, on or off Knozii, closes the account.
• Don't send sexual messages or images to anyone who hasn't asked for them.
• Chat+ photos are checked by our team before they are shown.

05No scams, and keep money on Knozii

• Don't ask people for money, M-Pesa, airtime or gift cards outside Knozii, and never send money to someone you've only met online.
• No fake offers, fake jobs, pyramid schemes or "send me X and I'll send back 2X".
• Don't sell anything illegal, including drugs, weapons and stolen goods.
• Pay and get paid through Knozii. Payments outside the app aren't protected, and we can't help you get them back.

06Meeting in person

• Knozii never arranges meet-ups. If you choose to meet someone, meet in a busy public place, tell a friend where you'll be, and get there and back on your own.
• Report anyone who pressures you to meet, or asks for money to travel to you.

07AI on Knozii

• Some replies are written by AI on a member's behalf. They always carry an AI or Twin badge. A badge tells you the reply was written by AI, not typed by the person.
• Don't use AI or tools to pretend to be someone, or to send spam.

08Spam and fair play

• No spam, chain messages, fake reviews, fake followers or bulk invites.
• Don't cheat quizzes, rewards or competitions, or use more than one account to win.

09Report and block

• Block: they can no longer message you, call you or see your Chat+ profile.
• Report: open their profile or the message and choose Report or block. Pick the reason that fits: harassment, scam, impersonation, inappropriate content, may be under 18, or something else.
• Our team reviews reports within 24 hours, and anything about a child straight away. We don't tell the person who reported them.
• During a video call you can report without ending the call. Calls are never recorded.

10What happens if you break the rules

Depending on how serious it is: we remove the content, give you a warning, limit features (for example, pause earning on Chat+), suspend you, or close your account. When someone is confirmed to be under 18, everyone who paid them in Chat+ gets their tokens back. Earnings from rule-breaking can be held or reversed.
