The short version
This summary is for orientation only. The numbered sections below are the policy.
Who we are
Knozii is a skill-verified tasks marketplace. This policy covers the Knozii website, the web app and the Android app, and explains how Knozii Ltd handles personal data as the controller of that data.
If you use Knozii as a client posting tasks, this policy covers your account data too. Anything you tell a tasker directly through a task is between you and them.
What we collect
We collect only what the product needs to work: enough to identify you, score your skills, match you to tasks and pay you correctly.
Why we use it
Each category has a purpose, and we do not repurpose data for something unrelated without telling you.
Who else processes your data
We use service providers to operate the platform — hosting and infrastructure, payment processing to move money to you, and communications tools to answer support mail. They act on our instructions, handle only what their job requires, and may not use your data for their own purposes.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
App permissions
The Android app asks for permissions only when a feature needs them, and you can refuse without losing access to test, tasks or payouts.
How long we keep it
Account and test data is kept while your account is open. Assessment results are retained as long as the badge is relevant to your profile, because a score without its date is meaningless.
Transaction and payout records are kept for the period financial and tax rules require, even after an account closes. Support correspondence is kept long enough to handle follow-up questions and disputes.
When something is no longer needed for any of these purposes, it is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold, correct anything wrong, export it, or delete your account. You can also object to particular uses and withdraw consent for anything you consented to.
Some requests have limits. We cannot delete records we are legally required to retain, and we cannot remove an assessment score while you are relying on the badge it produced. Where we cannot comply in full, we will tell you why.
How we protect it
Access to personal data inside Knozii is limited to staff who need it for their role, and administrative access is logged. Transfers between your device and our servers are encrypted.
No platform is immune to incidents. If one occurs that affects your data and creates a real risk to you, we will tell you and the relevant regulator as required, and explain what we are doing about it.
Age
Knozii involves cash stakes and paid work, so it is not for children. Accounts are for people aged 18 or over. If we learn that an account belongs to someone underage, we close it and remove the data we are not required to keep.
International use
Knozii operates globally, so your data may be processed in a country other than your own by us or our providers. Where that happens we rely on recognised safeguards for the transfer, and the protections in this policy apply wherever your data is handled.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes we update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use your data, we will tell you in the app or by email rather than quietly editing the page.
Contact
Privacy questions, requests and complaints go to privacy@knozii.com. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Making a request
To access, correct, export or delete your data, write to privacy@knozii.com from the address on your account. We will verify it is you before acting, and tell you if a request cannot be met in full — for example where financial records must be retained.
