Getting started
4 questionsCan I try Knozii without paying anything?
Yes. Every new account gets 3,000 Silver, which covers three practice tests so you learn the format before you stake cash. There is also a free guest challenge you can test before signing up at all, and free-entry flash challenges that pay Gold.
What happens when I sign up?
Onboarding is eight short steps: your name, gender, socials, university, skill level, up to five skills chosen from the forty we assess, and your city. Then you land on the home screen with your Silver ready.
See the full path →Do I need the Android app, or does the browser work?
Both, and they are the same product. One codebase serves the web app and Android, so your wallets, badges and streak are identical wherever you sign in.
Get the app →Do I need a CV, portfolio or references?
No. Nothing about getting started depends on being vouched for. You pick skills, test, and sit the assessment — the score is what a client reads.
Testing & diamonds
7 questionsHow do I earn diamonds?
One diamond for every correct answer, up to ten a quiz. Every quiz is ten questions — seven easy and three hard — so the ceiling is the same for everyone and the rate does not depend on how long you have been testing.
Can I buy diamonds?
No. Diamonds are earned only by passing tests. That is deliberate: because applying to a task costs diamonds, letting people buy them would turn the entry barrier into a paywall instead of a skill test.
How diamonds work →What is a quiz pool?
Two or more taskers stake cash and answer the same ten questions inside a shared three-minute window — there is no per-question timer. The top scorers split 80% of the pool, and the fastest completion breaks ties. Entry is $0.50 to $2.00.
What is crash quiz?
A twenty-question run on a $0.50 stake. Each correct answer raises your multiplier and you choose to bank or push; one wrong answer ends the run with nothing. The timer tightens as you go and the questions ramp from easy to killer. The multiplier tops out at 50x, or $25.00.
Can I test with friends?
Squad pools are team-based, with entries from $1.00 to $20.00 and an invite code to bring your own squad. You can also send a friend quiz or a dare directly.
What are Silver and Gold for?
Silver is a practice currency — 3,000 at signup, enough for three tests, and it does not refill. Gold comes from referrals, creator activity and flash challenges, and spends on cosmetics, power-ups, buying Silver and feed reach. Neither converts to cash.
Can I use power-ups in every mode?
No. There are six power-ups, but they are banned in solo test and in skill assessments so that a score always reflects unaided ability.
Skills & badges
4 questionsHow many skills can I be assessed in?
Forty skills, organised into thirteen domains — from AI and automation, data, dev and design through to writing, marketing, sales, finance, engineering and local field work. Each skill has its own quiz bank of 300 or more questions.
What does the assessment involve?
Forty questions with an 80% pass bar. Regulated fields such as law, medicine and engineering are held to a higher bar of 85 to 90%. Passing issues a badge at one of three levels: Beginner, Standard or Pro.
Is the assessment the same questions I have been testing?
No. Test, practice and assessment draw from three separate pools. Grinding a quiz bank for diamonds builds your familiarity with the subject, not your memory of the test.
What does a badge actually unlock?
Higher task tiers. Some tasks are badge-locked, and they stay visible with a route to unlock rather than being hidden, so you always know what the next assessment is worth.
Skills and badges in detail →Tasks & applying
6 questionsHow many tasks are there and what do they pay?
Right now there are 20 open microtasks, paying $19.00 to $23.00 each with no daily cap. The higher tiers are opening as clients onboard: Starter pays $5.00 to $100.00, and Skilled and Elite go up to $1,000.00 a task. Every listing states its pay, tier and entry cost before you apply.
What does it cost to apply?
Twenty diamonds at Microtask and Starter, fifty at Skilled and one hundred at Elite. Microtask access has its own unlock: 20 diamonds once, then 2 diamonds a day tied to your streak.
Do I get my diamonds back if I am not chosen?
No — the entry is spent when you apply. That is the mechanism that keeps applicant pools small and serious enough for a client to review every application properly.
How are tasks matched to me?
A deterministic server-side score across seven weights, with required skills counting most, then preferred skills, category, tier fit, freshness, payout and a universal boost. The same profile always ranks the same way — there is no bidding and no paid promotion. New accounts get a cold-start boost toward entry-tier and universal tasks.
See the weights →What is the difference between a task and a job?
Tasks are one-off and paid per completion — that is the large majority of the catalogue. Jobs are recurring, paid hourly, on retainer or per unit. The format is stated on every listing along with commitment and duration.
How do I prove I finished the work?
You submit proof against the task — a link and a screenshot — and the client reviews it against the acceptance criteria published on the listing.
Wallets & payouts
4 questionsWhich wallet does my money land in?
There are four cash wallets. My Deposits holds what you topped up and Pool Winnings holds pool, battle and crash winnings — both withdraw instantly. Task Earnings holds payment for delivered work and Knozii Savings holds what you set aside; both unlock at $40.00, with a progress bar so you always know how far off you are.
All wallets explained →What are diamonds worth in cash?
One diamond is one cent, so 1,000 diamonds redeem for $10.00. The rate is fixed and identical whether you earned it, spent it or cashed it out.
What identity checks are there?
A one-time KYC name match at the payout: the name on your account has to match the name registered to your payout method. It happens when money first leaves the platform, not at signup.
Are there withdrawal fees?
Any fee is calculated and shown to you before you confirm a withdrawal, and every transaction produces a receipt reference you can quote to support.
For clients
4 questionsWhat does it cost to post a task?
Posting is free and unlimited, and so is reviewing applicants. You fund the task value when you accept an applicant, and it is released when you accept the delivery.
Client pricing →How do I know an applicant can do the work?
Every application carries a dated assessment result in the skill you asked for, at Beginner, Standard or Pro. You are filtering on a score rather than on how well someone writes about themselves.
What if the delivery is not good enough?
Reviews are made against the acceptance criteria you published on the task. Funds stay reserved until you accept, and taskers who ghost or have work rejected carry a reliability penalty that follows them.
Can I hire the same person repeatedly?
Yes — post it as a job rather than a task. Jobs are recurring and can be paid hourly, on retainer or per unit.
Safety & integrity
4 questionsIs this gambling?
No. Outcomes come from answering correctly, not from chance. Quizzes are difficulty-calibrated at seven easy and three hard, power-ups are banned in solo test and assessments, and diamonds cannot be bought — so there is no way to buy an advantage.
How do you stop questions leaking?
Assessment questions live in a pool that test and practice never touch. Question usage and hit rates are monitored, and anything that looks compromised is quarantined out of rotation.
How do you handle anonymous posts?
Anonymous spills are filtered automatically and remain traceable internally. Anonymity to other users is not anonymity from moderation.
What data do you hold about me?
What you give during onboarding, your test record and assessment history, your task history and your payout verification. The privacy policy sets out retention and your rights over it.
