Child safety standards
Knozii has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. This page explains what we do not allow, how to report a concern, what we do when we receive one, and who to contact.

01Our standards
- Zero tolerance. We do not allow child sexual abuse or exploitation in any form, or any sexual content involving a person under 18. That includes photos, videos, messages, calls and links.
- We do not allow grooming, sextortion, or anyone seeking or soliciting a minor for sexual contact, money or images, on Knozii or arranged through it.
- Accounts that break these standards are closed.
02Knozii is for adults
- You must be 18 or over to use Knozii, as set out in our terms.
- When we ask for a date of birth, a date that makes you under 18 is refused. The date is then locked, so it cannot simply be entered again with a different year, and only our team can lift the lock.
- Some features are limited to members aged 18 or over, and check the date of birth on your profile: Chat+, squads, and paid challenges.
- Squad names and descriptions are checked against a word list before they are saved.
- New gallery photos on a Chat+ profile are reviewed by our team before they are shown to other members.
03How to report a concern
You do not need proof. If something worries you, tell us.
- A person: open their Chat+ profile and choose Report or block. Pick the reason that fits. If you think they are a child, choose May be under 18.
- A message: open the message options in a chat and choose Report message.
- Block: blocking someone stops them messaging you, calling you or seeing your Chat+ profile. You can report and block in one step.
- Anything else, or if you cannot find the right button: in the app, open the menu from your profile picture, then Help & Support, then Contact support. You can also use the contact form on this website, which does not need an account or the app.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police first.
04What we do when we receive a report
- Every report is reviewed by our safety team.
- A report that a Chat+ member may be under 18 acts straight away, before any review: their profile is hidden from other members, nobody can start paid contact with them, and their withdrawals are paused. Our team then decides. If the person is confirmed to be under 18, Chat+ earning is closed for good, their date of birth is locked, and everyone who paid them in Chat+ gets their tokens back.
- We remove the content, limit what the account can do, or close the account. We keep a record of the report and of what we decided.
- We report child sexual abuse material and exploitation to the police and to the relevant child protection body, as the law requires, and we preserve the evidence we hold so that they can act.
- We do not tell the person who was reported who made the report.
05Where to get help and report outside Knozii
- Childline Kenya, 116. Kenya's national child helpline. Call 116 for help for a child, or to report abuse.
- NCMEC CyberTipline. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children takes reports of online child sexual exploitation from anywhere in the world at report.cybertip.org.
- Your local police.
06Child safety contact
The Knozii safety team is our designated child safety contact. It is reached through our support form, not by email.
Use the contact form on this website, or in the app go to Help & Support, then Contact support. Say in your message that it is about child safety.
